So much to be uploaded and no motivation to do it.
I have LOADS of stuff worth uploading just am completely lacking any motivation to upload the stuff. Maybe soon. I think I first need to figure out what I am going to do with my files. Either use iPhoto or lightroom. tempted a lot by lightroom but iphoto is a half decent alternative…

I find it very hard to keep blogs up to date.
After having what can only be described as an awesome summer I am back at uni.
Uni is good and I have taken some realy nice shots in recent weeks.
I am hoping to buy a wideangle lens soon (10 - 20 or something like that) as well as a macro lens.
Once I have those two i will be investing in some studio lighting.
I figure I have about 1 year to really sort myself up and build up a decent client base before i am in my 3rd year of uni and too stressed to set it all up.
Enough people do not like the way i do things but some people do and so I have decided to push myself to actually get this done for once.

Hopefully I can also use this year to hone my drawing skills so that my photoshopping improves. - I guess it is O.K. at the moment but nothing more than that - although admitedly unlike some people i know I am not going out of my way to create images from nothing. I still like working with fotos and trying to keep them as close to real as possible but from time to time I do like to photoshop so much that it is hard to see what the image was to begin with.

I hope these ramblings are not too boring.
Just a few thoughts

Well it has once again been a while since I have posted anything.
Don't despair though as I have been this inactive on most of my blogs... I guess life has just caught up with me and my brain decided it did not want to write any blogs.
I have been busy at uni recently with the exception of the June trip to Northolt which was good fun and the fruits of which are shown in my blog. As a few of my friends have said some of the images are lacking the distinctive 'WOW' factor I normally like to have in my images but it also lead to the coining of the term 'hamerart' so I guess I am chuffed lol.
Well this year unlike last year I will make no promises for new work but I do aim to resurrect the 'ice' project from last year as it still seems like a cool idea...
Other than that I have no idea what this year will be like. I would very much like to go to berlin but due to my being a bit of an idiot I have to raise £600 before October so I severely doubt I will get the money to do it. I am going to Austria in August as well as New York on the 26th of this month for 3 days and then Niece for a French language course in the middle of July for 2 weeks so maybe I will at least manage to get some cool photos then.
At the moment I seem to being going through life most of the time in slow motion but the rest with the Fast Forward switch on full so to be honest my Photography is suffering big time. This years wedding season was also pretty disappointing due to my lack of organisation and general get up and go to get a decent website put together.
I would like to think next year will be better.
This year (academic) has been completely screwed up as I decided to re-take some IB exams then I also have to do a retake for shorthand as I was too lazy to do a few minutes every day... I also did not have a job which was silly as I just have nothing now so quite disappointing in some ways.
However I think I will go at 09/10 a lot more positively than I did 08/09 I think I have learnt a lot so looks like it is get a job and go out and have fun whilst studying next year rather than worrying about stupid retake exams. Having things on the back of your mind is enough to stop you from working properly - as stupid as that may sound.
So all in all this is quite the positive post looks like just maybe 09/10 could be a fun relaxed and normal year - I know optimism of the highest degree.
